Privacy Notice

Who we are

GuroHubNet (gurohub.net) is a project of Master Global Education & Livelihood Inc. ("MGELI", "we", "us"), a TESDA-registered educational institution based in Bacolod City, Philippines. MGELI is the personal data controller for GuroHubNet. This notice explains what we collect from teachers who use GuroHubNet, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, your city, your school, and your username.
• Your password — stored only as a secure one-way hash. We never store or see it in plain text.
• Your schoolwork activity — which lessons, documents, quizzes and slides you open or generate, and your daily usage counts.
• If you post a story on our wall — the words you write, and a photo if you choose to add one.
• Technical data — your login session token, so we know you are signed in.

We do not ask for your email address, your phone number, or any payment details to use GuroHubNet.

Why we collect it

• To create and run your account, and keep your place in the console.
• To prepare and generate the teaching documents you ask for.
• To show your story on the classroom wall, if you post one and we publish it.
• To keep the platform working, secure, and free of abuse.

Our legal basis is your consent, and the performance of the service you signed up for.

What becomes public

If you post a story to the wall and we publish it, your first name, your school, your own words, and the photo you chose appear publicly on gurohub.net. Nothing else about you is public — not your username, not your city, not your lesson activity.

Where it is stored, and who sees it

Your data is stored on secured servers under our control, with access limited to authorized administrators. AI service providers process the text you ask us to generate so that they can return your document. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data, except for anything we are required to keep for legal, tax or accounting purposes.

Your rights under RA 10173

You have the right to be informed, to object to processing, to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased or blocked, to claim damages for misuse, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email our Data Protection Officer. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Continuing to use GuroHubNet after a change means you accept the updated notice.
